Marketing Apprentice

 

The apprentice will be responsible for a range of marketing duties while working towards a selection of sales and marketing qualification units and will be able to learn about this exciting sector first-hand, alongside industry professionals.

This apprenticeship offers the unique opportunity to gain insight into both the sales and marketing department and will feature an accredited Sales and Marketing qualification.

General Duties

  • Assisting in the design of marketing material, literature, eshots and brochures
  • Editing the company website and updating the latest news and products sections
  • Liaising with key suppliers to keep up to date with latest offers and releases
  • Assisting in email marketing campaigns
  • Updating the company’s social media profiles
  • Assisting the sales team with marketing plans and activities
  • Locating and booking suitable networking and promotional events

 

Skills Required:

The suitable candidate will possess the ability to communicate effectively internally and externally and will have the exceptional attention to detail needed to effectively carry out this role.

Competent IT skills and knowledge of social media are advantages.

The suitable candidate will have a professional attitude and appearance and a genuine willingness to learn and succeed.

Service Engineer Apprentice

Independent Training College have just secured the fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic Customer Service/Service Engineer Apprentice to join the rapidly growing team at copier systems, based in the Darton area of Barnsley.

Vacancy Full Description:

The apprentice will be responsible for a range of customer service and service engineering duties while working towards a selection of mandatory and optional customer service qualification units and will be in a position to learn about this exciting sector first-hand, alongside industry professionals.

This apprenticeship offers the unique opportunity to gain insight into both the Customer Services and Engineering sectors, and will feature an accredited Customer Services qualification alongside employer based, internal engineering training.

General Duties and Qualification Units are to Include:

Providing technical support to customers both over the telephone and remotely
Liaising with suppliers in regards to warranties and faults
Liaising with the client companies IT department
Understanding the benefits of various printing solutions in order to inform and advise customers
Maintaining a positive and professional customer services impression
Performing workshop repairs and refurbishments when needed
Setting up new equipment and performing installations
Qualification Unit -Following rules to deliver customer service
Qualification Unit -Maintaining a positive and customer friendly attitude
Qualification Unit -Adapting behaviour to make a good customer service impression
Qualification Unit -Promoting additional products and services to customers
Full training will be provided both by the employer and Independent Training College.

Training to be Provided:

The successful candidate will work towards their full intermediate diploma level 2 in Customer Services. All training will be delivered entirely at the place of work, both on and off the job by Independent Training College. The apprenticeship framework includes functional skills qualifications in maths and English when needed.

Number of Vacancies: 1

Weekly Training Allowance: £122.50

The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to this role to all candidates in the first year of their apprenticeship.

Weekly Hours: 35 hours in total per week made up of time spent on the job and time spent training. Hours are worked from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am until 5:00 pm.
